About Pierre
During the second World War, in his 20's, he was a courageous civilian resistance fighter during the german occupation, watching & attacking trains, and spying & sabotaging at the airports around Brussels. Some items from his collection are still proofs of his reckless actions ( Luftwaffe Stuka pilot helmet left )
As he was fluent in German language, passionate about aircrafs, engines, precision, he could meet up for a coffee with pilots & officers, in mess of their bases, in order to grab information about their crews and missions. Some papers ( aussweiss, spy reports,..), german magazines, medals, weapons, bits & pieces are rare collectibles from that period left over, witnessing his comitment to freedom.
